On March 27th, Chinese and International students from CIWTO paid a visit to Fahaisi Forest Park and Shougang Group, which was the very first study trip after pandemic and was also an excellent opportunity for students to have a deeper understanding of China’s economic development throughout the time. International students whose countries are a part of the Belt and Road initiative also have the chance to experience the insight of China’s infrastructure development through the visit to Shougang Park which considers to be China’s impressive urban regeneration project. Aside from being China’s historic site for iron and steel industry, the Shougang Park now holds an iconic symbol of the Olympic Games Beijing 2022. International students can have the chance to experience the stunning renovation of the site from a remarkable iron and steel industry site to one of the world’s renowned Olympic games in Beijing. Furthermore, this spring study trip provided great opportunity for Chinese and international students to interact and exchange ideas about their home countries and how each country interacts with the world.
