June 23, a high-end seminar "Assessment on the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference and its Outcomes" hosted by the National University International Trade Discipline Collaboration Group and the Network on International Trade and Investment System (NITIS) was held online. Prof. Tu Xinquan, WTO Chairholder and Secretary-general of NITIS served as the host of this meeting. About 200 experts and scholars from the government and research institutes virtually participated the meeting, including Mr. Yi Xiaozhun, (Chief Advisor of NITIS, WTO former Deputy Director-General), Mr. Lu Xiankun (Director of the LEDECO Centre Swiss, President of Friends of Multilateralism Group), Prof. Lin Guijun (Secretary-General of the National University International Trade Discipline Collaboration Group, former Vice President of the University of International Business and Economics), etc. The experts and scholars analyzed the demonstration and replicability of the successful experience of the MC12 and discussed how to strengthen the multilateral trading system in the current international situation.
