From July 13 to 14, Professor Tu Xinquan, Dr. Lu Yue of CIWTO were invited to the University of Western Australia to participate in the 29th Annual Conference of Chinese Economics Society Australia (CESA). Lu Yue, assistant professor at CIWTO, gave a presentation titled "Financial Constraints and Global Value Chain Upgrading of China's Manufacturing". Scholars from many well-known universities in China and abroad such as the University of Western Australia, Peking University, Tsinghua University and Jinan University participated in this conference.

The Chinese Economics Society Australia (CESA) is a non-profit research organization which aims at promoting academic research and exchange activities related to the Chinese economy and China-Australia economic relations.
