From April 2 to April 7, 2024, WTO Chairholder at UIBE, Prof. Tu Xinquan was invited to attend the 2024 Annual Conference of the American Society of International Law in Washington D.C. and participated in the discussion on the topic of "The Weaponization of World Economic Policies" as a guest speaker. During the conference, Prof. Tu Xinquan actively communicated with well-known experts in the international legal community, which expanded the academic influence of WTO Chair at UIBE.

In addition, while attending the conference, Prof. Tu Xinquan also participated in the "Rethinking World Trade Seminar" organized by Georgetown University Law Center. He was invited to join a lunch discussion at Peterson Institute for International Economics, and visited Asia Society Policy Institute and the Sino-US Research Center, further expanded academic network on Trade and achieved productive results.
