WCP Advisory Board Member Prof. GAO Shuchao visited WTO Chair at UIBE and gave a lecture
On 18th April, the WCP Advisory Board member Prof. GAO Shuchao from the School of Law of Singapore Management University visited WTO Chair at UIBE and held an academic lecture entitled "State-owned Enterprises and the World Trading System" in the International Conference Hall on the third floor of Chengxin Building. The event was organized by WTO Chair at UIBE and hosted by Chairholder Prof. TU Xinquan. Nearly 200 students, scholars and government officials participated the lecture online and offline.
The lecture focused on the emergence of problems of state-owned enterprises, industrial policies and subsidies, WTO rules, CPTPP rules, post-CPTPP rules and solutions. Prof. GAO Shuchao made a comprehensive analysis of the problems of state-owned enterprises and the world trading system, and had in-depth discussions with the participating teachers and students.
