On September 26, 2025, Prof. Zhou Nianli from WTO Chair at UIBE was invited to Hangzhou to attend the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo. At the "Industrial Matchmaking Meeting for Digital Free Trade Zones from the Perspective of High-Standard Economic and Trade Rules" co-hosted by the People's Government of Hangzhou Municipality and the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, Prof. Zhou was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Countermeasures and Suggestions for Promoting Hangzhou to Build a Digital Free Trade Zone with Distinct Artificial Intelligence Characteristics." She also jointly released the Report on Hangzhou Digital FTZ Empowering AI Development 2025 with the Administrative Committee of Hangzhou Area of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Prof. Zhou's speech and the release of the report received great attention and unanimous praise from the participating leaders and guests.
