On June 18, 2019, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) invited Xu Fangda, Minister of Trade and Industry and Senior Minister of Education of the Ministry of Education of Singapore, to deliver a speech on the theme of "The Future of Free Trade in the Asia-Pacific Region". Against the background of increasing uncertainty in global free trade, this seminar focused on such important issues as future cooperation between China and Singapore, how to resolve Sino-US trade disputes, common opportunities and challenges in Asia, the “Belt and Road” Initiative, RCEP, multilateral trading system and the WTO reform. Li Siqi, Assistant Professor of CIWTO, attended this seminar and had communication with the participants.
