On April 8th, China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (CWTO) held a Joint Meeting of Former Commercial Diplomats and the first regular meeting of the International Business and Economics Advisory Committee in 2021. President of CWTO Chong Quan presided over the meeting, and more than a dozen commercial diplomats, including Sun Zhenyu, former Chinese ambassador to the WTO, attended the meeting and had a heated discussion on issues including China-US economic and trade relations as well as China's entry into CPTPP. Professor Tu Xinquan was also invited to attend the meeting and expressed his opinions on related issues.
