On July 18, 2019, CIWTO successfully held the International Roundtable Seminar on "Views on WTO Reform and China's Proposal". The seminar invited well-known experts and scholars from all over the world, including Alejandro Jara, former Deputy Director-General of WTO; Patrick Low, former chief economist of WTO; Pierre Sauvé, senior trade expert of World Bank Organization; Professor Jean Patrick Villeneuve at the University of Ticino (USI), Switzerland; President Sun Zhenyu and Vice President Huo Jianguo from China Society for World Trade Organization Studies; Professor Lu Xiankun from the Lecco Center in Geneva; Chairman Wang Huiyao and Secretary-General Miao Lu from the Center for China and Globalization (CCG); and Professor Lin Guijun, Professor Cui Fan, Professor Tu Xinquan, Associate Professor Lu Yue at the University of International Business and Economics. Nearly 20 people attended the roundtable.
