The Ninth WTO Ministerial Conference was held in Bali Island in Indonesia during December 3rd-5th.China Institute for WTO Studies participated as a Non-Governmental Organization. Vice President Lin Guijun, Professor Tu Xinquan and Professor Chen Weidong attended the meeting. At the same time, the parallel forum “Trade and Development Forum” hosted by ICTSD was held. CIWTO of UIBE hosted one of the forums again, the theme of which was “Are major powers leaving the WTO? the rise of mega-regionals and the multinational trading system.” We invited Jeffrey Schott, Bernard Hoekman, Peter Draper and other international well-known experts to participate in the forum.
