On March 2nd, the seminar on “the Changes and Challenges of China’s Internal and External Economic Environment during the Period of 13th Five-year Plan" was held by the National Institute for Strategic Studies of Tsinghua University. The Executive Dean Zhou Qi presided over the seminar. Many experts and scholars attended the meeting, including Ding Yifan from State Council Development Research Center, the Secretary-General of the Academic Committee of Development and Reform Commission Zhang Yansheng, the Vice President of China Development Bank Cao Honghui, the Professor Zhou Tianyong from the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, the financial expert Song Hongbing, Xu Qiyuan from Institute of World Economics and Politics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, et al. They discussed the issues over domestic and overseas economic environment confronted by China during the period of 13th Five-year Plan. Professor Tu Xinquan has been invited to participate in the seminar and expressed his views on the current situations of China’s foreign trade.
