On March 7th, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade held the seminar “The Dispute Settlement of WTO and Global Governance”. More than 40 people from government ,enterprises ,legal professions and academia attended the seminar, including the Chairman of China Society for World Trade Organization Studies Sun Zhenyu，Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Yin Zonghua, Vice Minister of Department of Treaty and Law of CCPIT Chen Fuli , Vice Director of Trade Remedy and Investigation Bureau of CCPIT Zhou Dalin, Professor Che Pizhao in Law School of Tsinghua University, the Director of Jin Tian Cheng Law Firm Fu Donghui, the Partner of Jin Cheng Tong Da Peng Jun, the Partner of Gao Peng Law Firm Jiang Liyong, the partner of Rui Yin Law Firm Wang Tao and Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products Wang Guiqing etc. They discussed about dispute settlement, especially focusing on China and EU fastener case as well as the relative issues of China participating in global trade governance. Professor Tu Xinquan has been invited to express his viewpoints on TPP’s influence on China and WTO.
