The 2017 Asia WTO Research Network Annual Meeting was held in Taipei City from June 4 to June 7. The Research Network is a loose academic community composed of researchers on the WTO from more than 30 universities and research institutions in the Asian-Pacific region, which holds academic meeting once a year. The annual meeting this year was held by the College of Law at Taiwan University and was chaired by Professor Lo Chang-fa. More than 20 scholars from different countries and regions such as Japan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand participated in the meeting. Professor Tu Xinquan attended the annual meeting and expressed his opinions about Trump administration's economic and trade policies towards China.
