On October 28th to 30th, the 2016 Annual Meeting and Youth Forum of China Society of World Economics was held in Nankai University. The Meeting included an opening ceremony and many sessions around the current hot issues on international trade, international finance, global value chain, regional economic integration and One Belt One Road. As an important academic event in the field of world economy, the meeting attracted hundreds of domestic and foreign experts, scholars and researchers in related fields. Assistant Professor Lv Yue and two graduate students of CIWTO participated in the Meeting.

Lv Yue presented her research paper on “Global Value Chain Embeddedness and Embodied Carbon Emissions in Chinese Trade” in the session “Global Value Chain and International Specialization”. The topic was new and practical and the presentation was delivered logically and progressively. After the presentation, she had a lively discussion with experts and scholars present, which promoted further research. Dr. Lv and the students successfully completed their tasks in this meeting and expanded the academic influence of CIWTO.
