On August 1st, International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and CIWTO jointly held a Workshop on G20 Trade and Investment Outcomes in Beijing International Hotel. More than 30 well-known experts and scholars attended the seminar, including Ricardo Meléndez-Ortiz, Chief Executive Officer of ICTSD, Zhang Yuyan, General Director of IWEP of CASS, Jeffrey Schott from Peterson Institute for International Economics etc. Tu Xinquan, Dean of CIWTO, hosted the first session of discussion. The speakers spoke highly of the achievements obtained at G20 Trade Minister Meeting as well as the leadership role that China has played, and looked forward to the G20 Hangzhou Summit.
