Recently, Prof. Tu Xinquan, the WTO Chairholder at UIBE, has been awarded a certificate for his significant contributions to the T20 Brazil process from December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024. This recognition highlights his significant role in advancing discussions on global trade challenges and fostering a more just, resilient, and sustainable world.

As part of the Think 20 (T20) process under the G20 framework, Prof. Tu collaborated closely with leading think tanks and research institutions worldwide in the past year. The T20 discussions centred on crucial issues such as climate change, global trade governance, inclusive economic growth, and the resilience of supply chains. The award of this certificate highlights the importance of WTO Chair at UIBE in global trade discussions and reflects its deepening role in shaping international trade policy.
