On November 17, the WTO Plastic Pollution and Sustainable Trade informal dialogue jointly initiated by the Chinese Mission to the WTO and the Fiji Mission to the WTO was held online. The Fiji Ambassador to the WTO Nazhat Shameem KHAN chaired the meeting and the Chinese Ambassador to the WTO Zhang Xiangchen delivered keynote speech, many ambassadors to the WTO, officials of the WTO Secretariat, and UN officials attended the dialogue. Professor Tu Xinquan was invited as an expert representative to express his views on how to use international cooperation to deal with plastic pollution.
